With joy and hope, we welcome Pope Leo XIV as the new Vicar of Christ. As faithful followers of the Church, we open our hearts to the path he calls us to walk: one of unity, peace, and synodality. His message is clear—a Church that listens, walks together, and stands with the suffering is a Church that reflects the heart of Christ.
In his first words as Holy Father, he reminded us that evil will not prevail, and that the Church must remain close to the wounded, the forgotten, and the poor. This mission is not just his—it is ours too.
We stand in support of Pope Leo XIV, trusting in the Holy Spirit who continues to guide the Church through him. May we, the faithful, respond with openness, humility, and courage, walking together—clergy, laity, all God’s people—toward a future built on communion, truth, and love.
Viva il Papa!
Together, let us be a synodal Church—united in Christ, guided by the Spirit.
